One of the tarantulas that grows in Benin, Ghana, Nigeria and many parts of Africa Hercules Baboon is boast a huge size. It used to be a fairly rare type of tarantula, but now it's relatively easy to find with a lot of breeder, but it's very hard to find in the wild.
Although the exact reason is unknown, there is a considerable lack of information on Hercules Baboon, so it shows relatively different growth processes and lifestyle habits depending on the zookeeper and breeding environment.
In juvenile, the entire body is light gray and has no special characteristics, but as it continues to shed, it becomes darker brown or darker black as it approaches full maturity. There is not much known about this difference either. Compared to other African tarantulas, the back armor is exceptionally large and has thick legs. Especially when it comes to the size of the back armor, it is one of the largest of all tarantulas. Compared to other tarantulas, they have less hair, and in full adults they have a smooth velvet armor.
It has enough poison to require attention. It is not fatal to humans, but if bitten, it can cause muscle pain, dizziness and pain, so it is recommended not to stimulate this tarantula if possible.
Because there are many kinds of tarantulas that have similar looks, they are often grown in a state that is not accurately classified.
