Electric blue(Chilobrachys natanicharum) is a tarantula first discovered in Thailand in 2013. It is native to mangrove forests and deep, lush forests, which are considered homes for many creatures. It was named 'Electric blue' because the sides and bottom of the bridge have a shiny metallic blue color. At the time of discovery, it was also called Chilobrachys sp."Khao Sok" because it was found in Khao Sok National Park.
It enjoys considerable popularity because of its large size and beautiful and unique colors.
The electric blue tarantula tends to have terrestrial and burrowing properties at the same time, but it tends to spin webs a lot. In the case of juveniles as well as adults, we see webs that cover the breeding ground all over. Sometimes it shows the nature of a tree satellite because in its natural state, this tarantula lives in the cracks or holes of rotten trees.
Electric blue tarantula is characterized by strong aggression and defense, but it has a good food response and a very fast growth rate. If they dig in a cave, it's not easy to observe because they spend most of time in it.
Unlike adults whose metallic blue color is attractive, males of the Electric blue tarantula are not blue at all. This means that sexual dysplasia is very strong. Male electric blue has a beige to brown color overall and a clear black band on its legs. The size is a little smaller than that of the female. In the case of juveniles, they are brown or gray throughout the body.
Electric blue tarantulas are relatively low in mating difficulties, so they were able to trend rapidly.
