Venezuelan Suntiger(Psalmopoeus irminia) is a New World tarantula with an impressive dark black and lightning-shaped orange pattern.

When it is juvenile, it has red back armor and spotted legs, but as it becomes an adult, all colors change to black, and it turns all black except at the end of the leg and the abdomen. An orange pattern is clearly visible at the end of the leg, and a symmetrical speck on the abdomen.

The Venezuelan Suntiger has incredibly fast travel speed, and it grows very fast from juvenile to adult. It's easy to observe because it shows amazing feeding reactions throughout all of the growth processes. They have remarkable agility and much stronger toxicity than the usual tarantula, so they give off a unique charm, but it's a must-be-aware that they're quite dangerous. This poison causes relatively serious pain and discomfort, and some reports say there were symptoms such as vomiting, fever, and muscle cramps. Although all symptoms usually subside within a day, it is recommended not to get bitten if possible.

Venezuelan Suntiger is known as a arboreal, but depending on the surrounding environment, there are many cases of hiding places on the ground. Therefore, when installing cork bark or wood pieces, it is much better to install them diagonally rather than at right angles. Unexpectedly, sometimes the ground is dug shallowly, so it is necessary to lay the soil appropriately, and the breeder always needs to know the location of the Sun Tiger's hideout. They are very aggressive and defensive, so it is recommended not to invade their territory as much as possible, except when cleaning or feeding shelter. Particular attention should be paid to the movement of this tarantula when cleaning. This tarantula can jump and jump from a high place or climb to another place.

After mating, females frequently eat males. If you want to save a male, you shouldn't take your eyes off them. It is known to lay up to 200 eggs, but in some cases, less than 100 eggs are often laid.
